Get inside the incredible vast savannas of the Orinoco Basin Colombia. Enjoy a pleasant week at our Terekay Lodge in the middle of Tomo and Terekay rivers.

In this trip you will fish two (2) rivers. Make your cast and feel the power of monster Peacock Bass. Six (6) full fishing days – Flexible fishing package.

Few places in the world offers you three different types of Peacock Bass (Temensis, Butterly and the beautiful Royal). In this trip you have the opportunity to cast your line in the numerous lagoons of two rivers, the Tomo and the Terekay.
You can also target Red Tail Catfish (Cajaro), Striped Catfish (Surubi), 3 types of Piranhas, Sardinata (Golden tarpon), Vampire fish (Payara), Blue Arowana, Bicuda, Dogfish, Jacunda and more.
Individual room for each angler at lodge. Breakfast is served at 6:00 a.m. before you head out to fish. The lodge is equipped with aluminum boats and 40hp engines. these boats will hold two anglers and one guide.
This trip is great for Fly Fishing and conventional anglers.

Day 1- Arrival at Bogotá Colombia.
Day 2- Local flight from Bogotá to Puerto Carreño Colombia and ground transportation to Terekay Lodge (4.5 hours drive in 4×4 cars through the savanna dirt roads).
Day 3 to 8 – Six full fishing days.
Day 9 –Ground transportation from Terekay Lodge to Puerto Carreño (4.5 hours drive in 4×4 cars through the savanna dirt roads), local flight from Puerto Carreño to Bogotá.

Important note: Local airline (Satena) usually changes the departure time of the flights. We strongly recommend your international connecting flights be one day before and one day after the trip.

– Transport in and out Puerto Carreño – Terekay Lodge.
– 3 meals at lodge (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
– Snacks at boat.
– Soft drinks at boat.

– Tourist fee to flight to Puerto Carreño, approximately $50.000 Colombian pesos. Must pay for this fee at Satena airline counter at Bogota airport when checking your bags. Satena only accepts Colombian Pesos (cash) (Bring Colombian Pesos for this payment).
– Tackles are not included but rods and reels can be rented for 100 dollars a setup. (Must be paid in case of damage or lost).
– Tips (recommended 10% of the total amount of the trip). Currency: Colombian Peso. Please make sure you bring enough to settle extra expenses in town and Tips. Tips can be done in Dollars but Pesos are more convenient for the staff.
– Alcoholic drinks.
– Health insurance.
– Payments for luggage excess.

Local airline weight limit is 15 kg per passenger on checked bags and 5 kg on cabin bags.

For each extra 1 kg, the airline will charge approximately $10.000 Colombian Pesos in addition. This must be paid in Colombian Pesos (bring Colombian Pesos for this payment)
Carry your most valuable and fragile in your cabin bag. Hooks, pliers, boga grips are not allowed in cabin bags.

No VISA is required to enter Colombia.

This saltwater trip offers you great inshore and offshore fishing. In this place you can fish all year-round to catch Cubera Snapper, Roosterfish, Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Marlin, Sailfish and more.
At hotel you will enjoy comfort in double accommodation, air conditioned and hot water. The food is amazing in this place and you can relax at the end of each day in the jacuzzi and contemplate the view of the sea while you swim into the pool.

Arapaima Jungle

Join us in this trip and travel to the heart of the Amazon Rain Forest. Cast your line inside the lagoons of the Amazon River tributaries searching the giant Arapaima Gigas. This monster mostly like live baits but you can use lures and flies, you never know. Also target with artificials: large-bodied Arowanas (Monkey Fish) Peacockbass Cichla Monoculus, Pacu, Catfish, Oscar fish and more.
Individual room for each angler at lodge. Breakfast is served at 6:00 a.m. before you head out to fish. The lodge is equipped with small boats and peque-peque engines, perfect for navigate the shallow waters in dry season. these boats will hold two anglers and one guide.

Day 1- Arrival at Bogotá Colombia.
Day 2- Local flight from Bogotá to Leticia Colombia and boat ride to lodge (1.45 hours).
Day 3 to 6 – four full fishing days.
Day 7 – Boat ride to Leticia airport and local flight to Bogotá.

Starting at Puerto Carreño Colombia you will enjoy a 10 days trip. (6 fishing days). Target monster Peacocks, Red Tail Cajaro, Striped Catfish, Piranhas and many more. 

The Camping trip is the way to fish the Tomo River, considered a great river to capture trophy Peacocks up to 20 pounds. The Tomo is 4.5 hours aprox. from Puerto Carreño, Vichada. 

Camping trip use a complete team of people in charge of every possible aspect, which includes 2 kitchen personal, fishing guide per group and 1 camp handyman in charge of installing tents, power generator, etc. Meals include fruits, meat, chicken and fish. A large tent serves as restaurant. The camp also has 2 toilets and 2 showers. There is electricity via the generator. Daily laundry service is included.

Day 1- Arrival at Bogotá Colombia. No international flights included in price. No hotel stay is included but easily arranged
Day 2- Local flight from Bogotá to Puerto Carreño Colombia and ground transportation to hotel in Puerto Carreño town.
Day 3 – Wake up early and take ground transportation (4.5 hours aprox.) to the Tomo River. You will arrive, set up rods after breakfast and then you will be ready to enjoy first fishing day going up to the camp.
Day 4-8 – Fishing days

Day 9 – Boat ride (2 hours aprox.) going down Tomo River and then 4.5 hours ground transportation to Puerto Carreño Hotel.

Day 10 – Ground transportation from Puerto Carreño hotel to airport and local flight Puerto Carreño – Bogotá.
